Hello, my name is Connie. I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, and I’ve loved creating things for as long as I can remember. I was always the kid who looked forward to art class, and as I got older, I realized creativity could do more than make things look good. To me, design is about helping people, solving problems, and making experiences better.

My career began in luxury retail leadership at Michael Kors, Louis Vuitton, and Tiffany & Co., where I led high-performing sales teams, advised clients, and managed business operations. That foundation shaped my approach to design, balancing user needs, leadership, and business strategy to create experiences that drive measurable impact.

Most recently, at Alaska Airlines, I led more than 25+ design projects, supporting over 30,000 employees. I was a multimedia designer working on employer brand experiences across HR, including learning and development, internal and external career sites, digital communications, videos, job aids, marketing campaigns, and scalable design systems.

Before Alaska Airlines, I was a Marketing Manager of Creative and Product Brand at Xemelgo, where I led the redesign of its e-commerce website, web and mobile products, marketing initiatives.I'm currently an MBA candidate at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and hold a bachelor’s degree in Ethnic Studies with a minor in Informatics (design and development of technology for people, organizations, and society) from the University of Washington.
